Heard of PTE? What is it? And why has it gained so much momentum in the recent days?

The PTE is a much recently devised English language test similar to IELTS and TOEFL. It has been launched worldwide only in 2009. PTE is the Pearson’s Test of English which is being conducted by the Pearson Language Tests is the youngest one of its type which is accepted by most B-schools across the world.

The main aspects that keep it ahead in the race are that the results of this test are provided within five working days, which is really faster compared to both the IELTS and TOEFL. Also, the test results are more elaborately designed than those given for the IELTS. The thermometer-style Global Scale of English is employed to give an exact overview of the English language skills in various areas, such as grammar, fluency, pronunciation and writing skills as well.

This test has gained acceptance by more than 6000 universities across the globe.

This computer based test evaluates the proficiency of the candidate in English Language and the overall scores range from is 10-90 points.
